A host of household names from the worlds of film, sport, TV, art and literature have helped to raise thousands of pounds for the National Literacy Trust. Supported by Pitney Bowes, the 'Pushing the Envelope' campaign secured support from 117 celebrities who customised envelopes to create unique works of art for the public to purchase bringing the total amount raised over the years to more than £95,000, thanks to phenomenal public support.

The Pitney Bowes Pushing the Envelope campaign is entering its seventh year - celebrities are invited to design an envelope, all of which are one-off original works of art which are then auctioned for charity.

Many celebrated actors, writers, illustrators, artists and entertainers have lent their support, including Grayson Perry, Dame Helen Mirren, Philip Pullman, John Knapp-Fisher, Quentin Blake and JLS.

Our theme for 2012 is 'What inspired your success', and the envelopes and words of inspiration will be auctioned in March 2012. We look forward to your support.
